The Woodroad House 47

descriptive

Two houses in a beautiful set of four semi-detached houses and a multi-family house located in Mamer. The building owners, two old friends, not wanting “turnkey” houses, decided to entrust their closed structural work project to the Tom Simon Architects office with the objective of, optimization of plans and interior architecture. A tailor-made approach for the improvement of many details, adapted to the needs of the inhabitants and which is essentially based on the complementarity between the creatives and their customers. The set is thought out on the notions of transparency and made with durable materials and high-end finishes. The different zones are separated by glazed planes and by a clever optimization of the transitions between each room. The architect emphasizes the staging with very sophisticated home automation and ambient lighting systems.. The houses deploy their full scale at the rear with copiously glazed facades oriented towards the natural landscape.
